The Brief:

Copy writing company Plain Text needed a
strong brand identity to stand out from the crowd.

Our Approach:

Chalk identified a strong conceptual basis for the
Plain Text brand: simplicity. A modest mark spoke
of clearness in communication and emphasised
Plain Text's single offering: quality language.
A serif font was used to represent the traditional
art of copywriting and the red full stop used to
enforce their single business offering. Stationery
and promotional literature was developed, sourcing
environmentally friendly stock and print specials
to emphasise the no nonsense theme.
